In this video the typical findings of lung ultrasound are described for critical patients with COVID infection.
Findings in lung ultrasound have been described as being present prior to symptoms for the patient develop. Lack of findings, however, does NOT mean that the patient does not have COVID.
Being a new virus the literature is in its infancy but the finding are similar to previously documented sonographic lung findings.
We are all learning together with this new pandemic. Post your experience and findings below for others to learn from when studying about this infection and lung ultrasound findings.
Studies are limited and number of participants in those studies are small but it is the best information we have at this point.
